Detailed Description

What is High Frequency Chest Wall Oscillation Airway Clearance System (Cough Device)? Effective clearance of secretions (phlegm) accumulated in the respiratory tract is of vital importance, especially in chronic respiratory diseases. At this point, the High Frequency Chest Wall Oscillation (HFCWO) Airway Clearing System, commonly known as the cough device, is a high-tech medical device used to facilitate the excretion of sputum and improve lung functions of patients. The HFCWO device works through a special vest placed on the patient's chest area. This vest oscillates (vibrates) the chest wall 5 to 25 times per minute with high-frequency vibrations from the device. These vibrations loosen the mucus in the lungs and allow it to move up the airways. In this way, the patient can expectorate more easily or secretions can be removed with an auxiliary aspiration system. Effective Secretion Cleansing: It loosens the phlegm accumulated in the lungs, making it easier to remove. Improving Respiratory Functions: Removing mucus opens the airways and increases oxygen intake.
